About the Role

A privately owned real estate investment and asset management platform seeks to hire an Associate for its Capital Markets division. This position involves close collaboration with senior leadership to expand its investor base and nurture capital partnerships, providing significant visibility and direct interaction with senior management. The role supports fundraising efforts targeting institutional investors, family offices, private wealth groups, and other capital providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior leadership on initiatives related to capital raising and investor relations.
  • Assist in creating and implementing fundraising strategies for both existing and new investment vehicles.
  • Identify and research potential institutional investors, family offices, private wealth entities, and capital partners.
  • Develop investor presentations, pitch books, investment documentation, and other related fundraising materials.
  • Support investor meetings, presentations, roadshows, and subsequent discussions.
  • Coordinate responses to investor due diligence and information requests.
  • Maintain and enhance the investor pipeline, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and fundraising activity tracking.
  • Conduct market and investor research to uncover new capital sources.
  • Help prepare investor updates, fund documentation, and ongoing communications with existing limited partners (LPs).
  • Collaborate closely with the investment team to gain in-depth understanding of the firm’s investment strategies, portfolio, and pipeline.
  • Assist senior management with strategic projects related to business development, capital partnerships, and platform growth initiatives.

Candidate Profile

  • Has approximately 3 to 7 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in real estate investment, private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, fund management, investor relations, or capital raising preferred.
  • Possesses strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to comprehend investment opportunities and communicate them persuasively to investors.
  • Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication skills and is confident in engaging senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint and presentation development, particularly in preparing polished investor or transaction materials.
  • Commercially minded, well-organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Self-driven with a keen eye for detail and high initiative.
  • Comfortable working in a lean, entrepreneurial environment with close interaction with senior decision-makers.
  • Knowledge of regional Asian languages or an existing investor network is a plus but not mandatory.
