Role Overview

As an Associate in Analytics Engineering based in Singapore, you will contribute to scaling data science and AI across the APAC region by focusing on engineering, deployment, and operationalizing analytics and AI solutions. You will collaborate closely with the APAC Data Science Team and business stakeholders to transform prototypes and analytical concepts into robust, enterprise-grade products that are supportable and sustainable.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert Data Science and AI prototypes into stable, maintainable applications and services, leveraging Python and containerized or cloud-based deployment.
• Facilitate business users and citizen developers by offering technical advice, templates, and secure procedures to progress from prototype to production.
• Collaborate with global Data Science and engineering teams to uphold standards for clean architecture, source control, testing, and deployments.
• Create and update user documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge bases to ensure continuity and easy maintenance.
• Work closely with the Data Science team to lower operational support needs and boost the efficacy of advanced analytics and AI initiatives.
• Provide support aligned with APAC time zones for analytics engineering, deployment troubleshooting, and facilitating operational handovers.
• Modernize legacy analytics solutions by transitioning them into scalable, maintainable systems utilizing Python, Snowflake, and governed platforms.
• Maintain and enhance existing analytics products, including Power BI dashboards and recurring analytical workflows.
• Perform additional duties as necessary to support the team and business goals.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong background in analytics engineering, software development, or AI-focused engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience developing data-centric applications using Python.
• Knowledge of analytics platforms such as Power BI and data ecosystems like Snowflake.
• Familiarity with cloud deployment methods, DevOps practices, version control tools (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines is highly advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
• Effective communication skills with both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders.

Education and Experience

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
• Preferably 2 to 5 years of experience in analytics engineering, software engineering, or an allied technical position.

Work Model and Culture

This position adopts a hybrid work arrangement requiring four days in the office each week, with an additional five remote days available per quarter, subject to managerial approval.
