Assistant Vice President - Platform Implementation

Role Overview

iCapital is seeking a skilled Assistant Vice President to join the APAC Platform Solutions team at their Singapore office. This role entails managing multiple initiatives centered on technical implementation and client delivery while addressing the operational and technical demands of various platform services. The position also involves identifying and supporting the creation of bespoke features for new partners, including the design and deployment of specialized platform capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with client onboarding by gathering requirements, analyzing workflows, and configuring platform settings.
• Engage in client workshops and solution design discussions to understand business operations and implementation prerequisites.
• Convert business needs into functional specifications, configure the platform accordingly, and develop testing scenarios.
• Plan and execute test cases, coordinate testing phases, and assist in readiness for production deployments.
• Configure platform traits to align with client business objectives and target operational models.
• Support integration activities such as single sign-on (SSO), secure file transfer protocol (SFTP), application programming interfaces (APIs), and file-based data exchanges.
• Verify system configuration changes through testing to ensure they yield expected results; troubleshoot and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues.
• Document integration requirements, workflows, and implementation guidelines.
• Analyze and verify data from multiple sources to guarantee precision and comprehensiveness.
• Assist with data mapping, transformation, and reconciliation procedures during client or partner onboarding.
• Help establish client-specific reports and data extraction processes.
• Support project implementation by tracking milestones, risks, action items, and deliverables.
• Prepare project status reports, meeting summaries, and implementation documentation.
• Maintain comprehensive implementation documentation and encourage knowledge sharing within the team.
• Assist senior staff with evaluating client requirements and contribute to identifying new implementation prospects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, FinTech, or related disciplines.
• Over six years of experience in business analysis, technology implementation, system integration, solution delivery, or similar fields, preferably with client-facing implementation involvement.
• Familiarity with financial services, wealth management, asset management, fintech, or SaaS platforms is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including proficiency in SQL, REST APIs, SFTP, data transformation, data mapping, and enterprise system integration.
• Ability to diagnose data issues, perform root cause analyses, and validate business workflows end-to-end.
• Exceptional communication and documentation skills with the aptitude to explain business processes and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Eagerness to acquire new technical skills, grasp evolving business processes, and understand platform capabilities.
• Demonstrates a solid work ethic, high accountability, proactive approach, and curiosity to adapt in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Exhibits ownership, meticulous attention to detail, and a hands-on delivery mindset.
• Fluency in written and verbal English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Work Arrangement

This position requires working on-site in Singapore from Monday through Thursday. Fridays offer flexibility for remote work.
