Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and seasoned Assistant Talent Acquisition Manager to oversee the complete recruitment and onboarding procedures for an upscale 5-star hotel. This role demands autonomy in managing recruitment from the initial manpower requisition to successful candidate onboarding, with a special emphasis on luxury hospitality talent acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle independently, starting from approved manpower requisitions through to onboarding new hires.
- Collaborate closely with department heads and hiring managers to comprehend staffing needs, job profiles, and establish recruitment priorities.
- Create and publish job openings on various recruitment platforms, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), job boards, LinkedIn, and other sourcing channels.
- Actively source and attract qualified candidates through diverse channels such as direct sourcing, talent pools, referrals, recruitment agencies, and social media.
- Conduct HR interviews and competency-based assessments when necessary.
- Organize and facilitate interviews with hiring managers and senior stakeholders efficiently.
- Manage pre-employment processes including reference checks, background verification, and documentation.
- Handle the onboarding journey effectively from offer acceptance to joining, ensuring timely completion of all required formalities.
- Prepare new employee documentation, coordinate induction programs, welcome arrangements, and orientation sessions.
- Support various recruitment initiatives including career fairs, open days, university recruitment drives, and campaigns.
- Establish and sustain productive relationships with recruitment agencies, hospitality schools, universities, and external recruitment partners.
- Continuously seek improvements in recruitment and onboarding processes to enhance the candidate experience.
Qualifications & Experience
- 4 to 6 years of talent acquisition or recruitment experience, ideally within a luxury 5-star hotel or premium hospitality setting.
- Demonstrable capability to independently manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding procedures.
- Experience recruiting for both operational roles and supervisory or management positions.
- Strong skills in sourcing and attracting candidates using LinkedIn, job portals, ATS platforms, direct sourcing, and databases.
- Proficient in interviewing, candidate assessment, negotiation, and managing stakeholder relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of recruitment protocols, employment documentation, and onboarding requirements.
- Experience liaising with recruitment agencies and external talent acquisition partners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail alongside a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
