Role Overview

The Assistant Store Manager at ALDI Rockingham plays a critical role in overseeing daily store operations and supporting the Store Manager in managing a multimillion-dollar retail business. This leadership position involves elevating team performance, handling scheduling and inventory management, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. The successful candidate will occasionally act as the Store Manager during their absence.

Key Responsibilities

• Coach and develop team members, preparing future store leaders through effective training.
• Maintain strict safety and cleanliness standards throughout the store environment.
• Monitor stock levels carefully to minimise shrinkage and ensure adequate inventory.
• Participate actively in activities such as cashiering, shelf stocking, and merchandising promotional items.
• Identify and suggest continuous improvements to store operations and customer service.
• Assist in delivering smooth store functioning to uphold high customer satisfaction.
• Manage store operations independently when the Store Manager is on leave.
