Assistant Store Manager - Nike Leipzig

Overview

We are looking for a motivated Assistant Store Manager to join the Nike team in Leipzig, aiming to enhance store performance and lead the team towards success. Expected start date is November 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all store operations including Front of House, Back of House, and visual merchandising to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient functioning.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales, set clear targets, and drive achievement through focused actions and ongoing monitoring of key performance indicators.
• Motivate, lead, and develop the team via coaching, feedback, and training to meet collective goals.
• Assist in recruitment, staff scheduling, and talent succession planning to maintain strong team performance.
• Effectively manage inventory, product flow, orders, and loss prevention measures.
• Exemplify superior customer service and cultivate a customer-centric sales and service culture for an outstanding shopping experience.
• Ensure compliance with company policies as well as health, safety, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to maintain efficient processes and high operational standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in a comparable role.
• Fluency in German and at least B2 level English proficiency.
• Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and capability to manage priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Passion for the Nike brand and the retail sector.
