Overview
Mountain Warehouse is seeking a passionate Assistant Store Manager to join its team in Dublin, O'Connell Street. This role involves partnering with the Store Manager to steer daily operations and cultivate an environment where both employees and customers thrive. You will be instrumental in enhancing the shopping experience while ensuring the brand’s standards are maintained.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to lead, motivate, and engage a dynamic team committed to excellence.
- Create a supportive culture that promotes teamwork and shared objectives.
- Deliver comprehensive training and development opportunities to empower the team.
- Keep communication channels open, fostering transparency and trust among team members.
- Ensure the team is well-versed in product knowledge to provide exceptional customer service.
- Manage daily store operations efficiently, making sure all company policies are followed.
- Uphold superior visual merchandising and store cleanliness standards to enrich the customer experience.
- Focus on health and safety, performing regular risk assessments to maintain a safe environment for staff and customers.
- Participate actively in hiring and retaining talented personnel to build a strong workforce.
- Assist in achieving and surpassing sales targets by applying effective strategies to enhance profitability.
- Monitor performance indicators to evaluate and maintain store success.
- Oversee stock management including timely replenishment and accurate deliveries.
- Implement and maintain loss prevention measures to protect store assets.
- Demonstrate leadership through exemplary customer service and promptly manage customer feedback to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Be a positive brand ambassador, engaging professionally and enthusiastically with customers and the local community to create a welcoming shopping atmosphere.
