About the Role

The Assistant Store Manager position at PUMA Harbourtown is a dynamic opportunity to play a leading role in one of the brand's top-performing stores located in Biggera Waters, Queensland. This role involves energizing and inspiring a fast-paced retail team, driving strong sales outcomes, and maintaining a vibrant store atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in fostering a culture focused on high performance and teamwork.
  • Achieve and surpass sales goals, customer service expectations, and key performance indicators.
  • Coach and mentor team members to develop their skills and passion for excellence.
  • Manage the sales floor environment, ensuring an outstanding customer experience and vibrant team energy.
  • Oversee daily store operations including inventory management and loss prevention efforts.
  • Assume the Store Manager's responsibilities and lead the store smoothly during their absence.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess 2 to 4 years of leadership experience in retail management, preferably within apparel or footwear sectors.
  • Demonstrate a strong sales-driven approach with a proven history of meeting and exceeding targets while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Exhibit high energy, adaptability, and readiness to lead effectively in a demanding, fast-paced retail environment.
  • Have an excellent customer focus with the ability to engage, connect, and build lasting customer loyalty.
  • Be flexible and available to work during weekends, evenings, and peak retail periods when the store needs support the most.
