About the Role

Join Anaconda as an Assistant Store Manager and lead the team to deliver exceptional retail experiences in an outdoor-focused environment. Your role will involve hands-on leadership, supporting and coaching a team, managing product departments, and driving sales to achieve and exceed targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to the store team across all operational aspects
• Lead by example, coaching and developing team members to maximize their potential
• Take charge of product management within each department
• Drive sales performance to meet and surpass budget and target goals
• Maintain exceptional customer service standards to ensure outstanding experiences

Requirements

• Prior experience in a leadership role within a large-format retail setting
• Ability to lead and motivate a team of up to 20 employees
• Strong understanding of sales trends, best-selling products, and key performance indicators
• Excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience handling high stock volumes effectively
• Genuine passion for outdoor activities highly preferred
• First Aid certification or willingness to obtain training provided by the company
• Availability for full-time shifts including late nights and weekends
• Legal full working rights in Australia
