Role Overview

We are searching for an Assistant Store Manager to advance your retail leadership journey. In this role, you will oversee daily store operations, lead sales initiatives, and motivate your team to perform at their highest level. Supporting the Store Manager, you will help run a multimillion-dollar business, manage rostering and reporting, and be part of a dedicated team ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor and develop team members to become future store leaders through effective training and coaching.
  • Maintain superior store standards by ensuring safety and cleanliness at all times.
  • Oversee inventory management to minimize losses and ensure stock accuracy.
  • Engage in hands-on work with your team, including register operations, shelf replenishment, and merchandising of special promotions.
  • Proactively identify and suggest opportunities for store improvements.
  • Ensure seamless daily store operations, aiming to uphold high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Assume full store management responsibilities during the Store Manager's absence.

  • Proven leadership experience, ideally within customer-centric environments.
  • Excellent communication skills to inspire team members and enhance customer experience.
  • Strong passion and ability to motivate, train, and support team performance.
  • Capability to assist the Store Manager in meeting overall store objectives.
  • A professional demeanor and responsible approach in various situations.
  • Ability to work independently, ensuring compliance with ALDI's policies and procedures.
