Role Overview

Serving as an Assistant Store Manager, you will be instrumental in leading the retail team to embody the Harris Scarfe customer experience. Your role includes nurturing a welcoming store atmosphere, driving sales and service standards, and fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager by supporting all operational facets of the store.
• Demonstrate leadership through setting exemplary standards in customer service, health and safety, and store presentation.
• Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to build team skills and morale.
• Manage stock operations, merchandising layouts, and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
• Contribute to strong business results across various departments.
• Promote an inclusive and cooperative team culture.
• Deliver outstanding customer experiences consistently.

Candidate Profile

• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in retail or hospitality environments.
• People-centered leadership approach with strong capabilities in coaching and team development.
• Effective communication skills combined with the ability to remain calm and solution-driven.
• Experience and confidence in visual merchandising and maintaining store aesthetics.
• Well-organized with proficiency in administrative tasks and IT systems.
• Full availability including weekends along with eligibility to work in Australia.
