Role Summary
The Assistant Property Manager position is a hybrid full-time role based in Tema, involving a blend of on-site property visits and remote office tasks. The role supports the Property Manager by managing day-to-day operations such as tenant communications, lease administration, rent tracking, and maintenance coordination. Responsibilities include scheduling and inspecting repairs, coordinating with contractors, ensuring properties comply with safety and quality standards, maintaining accurate records, generating basic reports, assisting in marketing vacant units, and facilitating property viewings when necessary. Collaboration with internal teams is essential to maintain high occupancy rates and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience or keen interest in property management, real estate operations, or facilities coordination.
- Competence in administrative duties, document management, and proficiency with office software including email, spreadsheets, and property management tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage professionally with tenants, property owners, and service providers.
- Organizational skills and problem-solving aptitude, capable of prioritizing tasks, following up issues, and meeting deadlines.
- High attention to detail and dependability in handling contracts, payment processing, reporting, and compliance documentation.
- Self-driven and accountable, able to work both on-site in Tema and remotely.
- Prior experience in property management, customer service, or a related discipline is a plus.
- Preferred educational qualifications include a diploma or degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Facilities Management, or related fields.
