Assistant Operations Manager

Job Summary

Sodexo is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to oversee daily site operations in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 6 years of relevant experience with a preference for those familiar with remote or site-based working environments. The role demands immediate availability, with a notice period not exceeding 15 days.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate routine activities at the site to ensure seamless operational flow.
• Track and evaluate operational tasks, productivity metrics, and service outcomes.
• Engage effectively with site teams, clients, vendors, and various internal departments.
• Manage staff deployment, monitor attendance, and handle daily operational necessities.
• Ensure strict adherence to organizational policies, standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and client requirements.
• Compile and maintain daily and weekly operation reports along with Management Information Systems (MIS).
• Identify and resolve operational challenges promptly.
• Assist in manpower planning, foster team coordination, and promote employee engagement.
• Maintain high levels of service excellence and customer satisfaction.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a graduation degree in any discipline.
• Have between 2 to 6 years of professional experience in Operations, Site Operations, Facility Management, Hospitality, or related service sectors.
• Experience in remote or site-specific locations will provide an advantage.
• Exhibit strong communication skills, coordination abilities, and experience managing teams.
• Demonstrate problem-solving aptitude and excellent organizational skills.
• Prefer candidates who can start immediately or within a 15-day timeframe.
