Role Overview

As an Assistant Department Manager within Woolworths Group, you will play a vital part in the daily operations of your designated department, collaborating across the store to deliver an exceptional shopping experience and foster a positive workplace environment. This position serves as an entry point into retail leadership, supported by the Store Leadership Pathway to develop essential leadership and departmental skills.

Work Schedule

Your roster (Option 1) is as follows:

  • Monday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Thursday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Saturday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Create an engaging, inclusive team atmosphere encouraging individuality while consistently delivering quality shopping experiences for customers.
  • Support your initial leadership journey by developing capabilities to lead effectively within the retail sector.
  • Manage safety protocols strictly to prioritize team and customer well-being.
