About the Role
Join Panda Express as an Assistant Manager and step into a leadership position where you will support the overall operations of a single restaurant location. This role involves overseeing hiring processes, managing and guiding team members towards accomplishing financial objectives, and ensuring outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing daily store functions including recruiting, directing, and motivating staff. Help drive business success by meeting performance targets and delivering excellent guest experiences. Participate in a comprehensive paid leadership training program lasting at least three weeks to prepare you for success in the role.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma is mandatory.
- Flexibility to relocate within 50 miles of current residence is required.
- Ability to work variable schedules, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
- Certification in food safety (Serve Safe) is necessary.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
The workplace involves exposure to heat and steam, and staff are expected to be on their feet for extended periods. Tasks include preparing hot and cold foods, operating kitchen equipment safely, and lifting items up to 50 pounds. Employees must be able to perform effectively in a fast-paced, noisy environment, communicate clearly, and adapt to changing priorities and challenging situations.
