Assistant Manager

Overview

This role involves overseeing daily operations in a pizza store including equipment handling, inventory management, order processing, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate all store equipment efficiently and safely.
• Transfer ingredients from delivery to storage, work areas, and walk-in cooler.
• Prepare food products as per standards.
• Handle telephone orders from customers promptly and accurately.
• Perform inventory counts and complete necessary paperwork.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and facility on a regular basis.
• Deliver products to customers' doors using a vehicle, and distribute marketing materials such as flyers and door hangers.

Essential Skills and Abilities

• Basic arithmetic skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, with or without a calculator.
• Ability to make correct monetary change promptly.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to take and process orders both in person and over the phone.
• Good motor coordination for precise and rapid hand movements during order preparation.
• Competence in using computer keyboards or touch screens for entering orders.
• Ability to comprehend and follow written instructions accurately.
• Strong navigation skills to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery zone, managing adverse terrains such as multi-story buildings and private homes.
