The Assistant Manager - Learning & Development role is designed to cultivate and oversee impactful training and development initiatives that improve staff capabilities, engagement, and career advancement opportunities, aligning with Hyatt's high standards and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement various training programs that enhance colleagues' skills and knowledge.
- Facilitate learning sessions, ensuring effective delivery and participant engagement.
- Manage and monitor compliance training to guarantee timely completion.
- Support broader talent development projects and performance management efforts within the organization.
- Encourage a learning-focused environment that promotes continuous improvement and employee growth.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Hold at least 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Learning & Development, Training, HR, or a similar function within the hospitality sector.
- Demonstrated capability in designing, coordinating, and delivering effective training programs.
- Strong understanding of talent development, employee performance evaluation, and engagement methodologies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with learning management systems.
- Excellent organizational abilities and interpersonal communication skills.
- Skillful in influencing, coaching, and fostering robust relationships across all employee levels.
- Experience with Hyatt’s brand standards and training frameworks is advantageous.
