Assistant Manager Laundry & Linen

About the Role

We prioritize excellence in laundry services and are seeking a Laundry Attendant with keen attention to detail and dedication to maintaining the highest standards. This role involves ensuring every linen item and guest article is properly washed, dried, and folded to meet our quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort laundry by color, fabric type, and degree of soiling.
• Inspect linen and laundry for stains or damage, documenting any defective items.
• Operate washing and drying machines according to manufacturer guidelines and optimal capacity.
• Measure and apply appropriate chemicals accurately for each wash cycle.
• Handle tasks such as folding and storing clean linens, operating machines like linen feeders, sheet folders, towel folders, and table linen ironing equipment.

Required Qualifications and Attributes

• This is a physically demanding position requiring standing most of the day.
• Ability to lift or carry items up to 75 pounds and push or pull loads approximately 400 pounds.
• Perform activities requiring bending, stooping, and kneeling.
• Work safely in areas with elevated temperatures near heavy machinery.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills needed to determine chemical quantities and record weights.
• Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
