Job description
Role Overview
As an Assistant Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring guests receive exceptional first impressions and experiences. Your duties will span overseeing registration, reservations, porter services, and concierge operations to maintain seamless front office functioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the front office team to consistently deliver warm welcomes and memorable guest interactions.
- Engage with guests to build strong personal connections and resolve any concerns or complaints effectively.
- Perform regular inspections of the front office to uphold high standards for guest impressions.
- Assist in budget preparation and develop initiatives to boost revenue from walk-in customers and up-selling at the front desk.
- Train team members on procedures and act as the primary lead during emergencies or crisis situations.
- Report to the Director of Rooms and manage front desk staff across multiple specialisms.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher education qualification in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in Front Office or Guest Service roles, including management responsibilities.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and exemplary organizational and time management capabilities.
- Committed to teamwork with eagerness to learn and grow.
- Saudi nationals only.
- Experience working in hotels located in Madinah or Makkah, with a minimum of 2 years as Assistant Front Office Manager in these areas.
- Comprehensive operational knowledge of the hospitality industry alongside a deep understanding of local market trends and business dynamics.
- Practical experience with Oracle OPERA PMS Front Office system is mandatory.
