Assistant Manager

Overview

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Manager for our Burnsville, MN location at Store 2746213, 14150 Irving Ave. South. This role offers flexible shifts including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends, in a fast-paced, engaging environment with strong potential for career growth in management.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager by overseeing daily stationstore operations.
• Assist with hiring, supervising, and collaborating with staff to complete daily tasks efficiently.
• Manage bookkeeping and merchandising functions.
• Uphold high standards and deliver quick, friendly customer service.
• Ensure consistent and predictable onsite attendance.
• Execute and maintain excellence in the food program standards.
• Lead by example with a sense of urgency, patience, and strong leadership.

• Effective leadership managing teams and supervising staff.
• Proficient in recruitment, interviewing, and hiring processes.
• Strong delegation and task follow-up skills.
• Adept at teaching, motivating, and developing others.

Preferred Qualifications

• Retail background with supervisory or management experience.
• Skills in recruiting, hiring, and interviewing.
• Experience in food handling.
• Completion of high school or college degree(s).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours.
• Lift and carry up to 30 pounds from the ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes per shift.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 60 pounds from the ground to waist level.
• Push or pull with up to 20 pounds of force using arms.
• Bend at the waist with twisting motions for up to one hour per shift.
• Manual dexterity to grasp, reach, and manipulate objects, including climbing ladders to store or retrieve items.
