Job Summary

This role involves maintaining and supporting the bank's software application inventory by applying industry best practices. The candidate will provide support to application and development teams regarding critical information systems and banking software, ensuring smooth deployment and functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver solutions aligned with user needs while supporting the execution of IT strategies.
• Assist in the roll-out and monitoring of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring adherence to best practices for core banking applications.
• Promote cost efficiency and productivity improvements to reduce waste and maximize benefits for the bank within delegated authority limits.
• Work closely with analysts, designers, system owners, and developers to support development, testing, and troubleshooting of software programs.
• Coordinate with the Core Banking Applications Manager for rapid problem resolution and service delivery aligned with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Foster collaborative relationships across departments to help meet organizational goals.
• Provide accurate information to auditors, compliance, financial control, and risk management teams as needed.
• Participate in development and deployment of new system software and enhancements, analyzing system effectiveness and recommending improvements.
• Ensure any new software integrations meet functional, compliance, and interface requirements.
• Develop and enforce quality assurance procedures and maintain comprehensive documentation, technical specifications, and system user guides in line with documentation policies.
• Apply project management best practices to deliver projects within time, resource, and budget constraints.
• Understand user requirements, system architecture, and limitations to offer appropriate solutions, aligning changes with long-term group strategies.
• Continuously identify and pursue professional development opportunities for self and team members.
• Adhere to all legal, regulatory, and internal compliance frameworks, including AML & CTF, sanctions, data protection, fraud control, whistleblowing, and conflict of interest policies.
• Contribute to risk management by supporting RCSA, KRI monitoring, incident reporting, and remediation activities.
• Maintain strict data confidentiality and high professional standards to protect sensitive information and uphold QNB's reputation.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Educational and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum of four years' experience in financial services with a focus on web or mobile application development.
• Experience with core banking applications, particularly with strong development skills on IBM System i platforms.
• Relevant training and certifications in related systems technologies.
