About the Role
Join Panda Express as an Assistant Manager, playing a vital role in the daily operations of a single restaurant location. This leadership position focuses on staff hiring, management, and guiding associates to meet financial objectives while ensuring customers receive exceptional experiences. The company provides a paid leadership training spanning at least three weeks to equip you for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the store's overall operation to achieve business goals.
- Lead recruitment, development, and direction of store team members.
- Ensure outstanding guest satisfaction through effective operational delivery.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma is mandatory.
- Must be able and willing to relocate within a 50-mile radius if required.
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including opening and closing times, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business demands.
- Possession of Food Safety certification such as Serve Safe.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
Working conditions may include hot and steamy kitchen areas, limited workspace, and standing for prolonged periods. Tasks require preparation of hot and cold foods, use of kitchen tools including Chinese cook knives, and quick, accurate work pace. Employees should be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for up to four hours at a time, and reaching across counters approximately 36 inches high. The kitchen atmosphere may be noisy with limited storage.
