About the Role

Job Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager, you will support the operation of a single Panda Express store. Your duties will include recruiting, managing, and guiding associates to meet financial objectives and deliver excellent guest experiences. You will play a pivotal role in driving your store's success. To equip you for this role, we offer a tailored leadership training program lasting three or more weeks.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
- Willingness to relocate within a 50-mile radius of your residence if necessary
- Availability to work flexible hours including opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands
- Food safety certification: Serve Safe is required
Working Conditions & ADA Statement
The role requires standing for extended periods, often in busy, hot, and noisy kitchen environments. Tasks include preparing hot and cold foods using Chinese cook knives and kitchen equipment rapidly without sacrificing accuracy. Employees must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and reaching across counters approximately 36 inches high. Effective communication skills, adaptability to dynamic environments, and the ability to manage conflict are essential.
