Assistant Front Store Manager - Full Time Night Shift

About the Role

Join a locally run retail store delivering health, beauty, and convenience services to the community, with focus on prioritizing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Front Store Manager in overseeing human, physical, and financial resources to meet store goals.
• Maintain store standards consistently, including both sales floor and backroom, to maximize customer experience and sales traffic.
• Collaborate with management team to ensure standards are adhered to 100% of the time.
• Assist with labor scheduling using Workforce Management tools, optimizing labor productivity and ensuring appropriate staffing levels for operations.
• Support hiring within all store departments except Pharmacy in cooperation with the Front Store Manager.
• Administer wage policies in alignment with guidelines.
• Promote company culture, employee engagement, and lead staff by exemplifying core company values.

• Experience in retail management with proven ability to drive business results.
• Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills to prioritize and adapt to changing priorities effectively.
• Solid judgment and decision-making capabilities to manage expenses and inventory preparations efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills to foster teamwork and staff development.
• Business knowledge, financial acumen, and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Compensation & Work Conditions

The position offers an hourly wage between $19.20 and $22.20, dependent on experience and location. This role is full-time, working night shifts onsite at the Scarborough, Ontario location.
