Assistant Front Store Manager - Full Time, Hourly, Day Shift

Position Overview

Join a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store in Kingston, Ontario to play a key role in offering health, beauty, and convenience services to your community while putting customers first.

Role Purpose

The Assistant Front Store Manager supports the Front Store Manager (FSM) in overseeing the store’s human, physical, and financial resources to meet store goals by enhancing product flow from the stockroom onto the sales floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain store standards to enhance the customer experience, increase foot traffic, and maximize profitability.
• Collaborate with the management team to ensure 100% adherence to store standards, including backroom operations.
• Assist with labour scheduling using Work Force Management (WFM) tools to optimize staff productivity.
• Ensure staffing levels are sufficient to run store operations effectively.
• Support hiring efforts in coordination with the FSM for all departments except Pharmacy.
• Comply with Human Resources standards and administer wages within company guidelines.
• Promote workplace culture, engagement, and motivation among staff following the company’s Core Values.
