About the Role

Join EY as an Assistant Director specializing as a Domain Analyst in the Metals and Mining sector. This role offers the opportunity to develop into a subject matter expert focusing on key industry areas such as technology, sustainability, and sub-sector specifics. You will play a pivotal role in delivering insightful analysis and strategic advice that supports EY's growth and enhances client engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a recognized internal profile as a subject matter expert within your domain.
  • Interact with senior stakeholders to provide commercial insights addressing challenges and opportunities impacting EY and clients.
  • Contribute to account meetings and assist domain leaders in client interactions and event preparation.
  • Drive commercial impact by activating relevant content and identifying business growth prospects across EY networks.
  • Collaborate with experts and colleagues to create and present compelling insights supporting business development.
  • Lead development of domain-specific research leveraging EY’s proprietary knowledge.
  • Foster cross-domain collaboration and share valuable insights with other teams.
  • Synthesize multiple perspectives to produce impactful insights guiding strategic decisions.
  • Spot emerging trends and convert them into market-facing initiatives.
  • Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills in research, analysis, data handling, and visualization.

  • Proven presentation skills, with ability to influence senior clients and internal leaders.

Candidate Profile

We seek curious and strategic professionals with commercial acumen informed by client experience and marketplace trends. Analytical capabilities coupled with effective collaboration and communication are essential. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree, ideally supplemented by a master’s or postgraduate qualifications, and have 7 to 10 years of relevant industry experience in strategy, business analysis, management consulting, or research within the domain.
