Overview

The Assistant Digital Marketing Manager is a critical member of the marketing team focused on developing and executing property-specific communications for customers, under the guidance of the Marketing and Communication Manager. This role champions the hotel's branding across traditional, digital, and social media platforms to elevate its reputation and awareness. Responsibilities include devising direct marketing strategies, launching targeted campaigns, and ensuring alignment with regional eCommerce and marketing efforts to boost brand visibility and market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of the annual marketing plan within budget.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Food & Beverage, and Sales teams to run promotions targeting in-house guests to increase hotel revenue.
  • Coordinate with advertising agencies on creative development and media planning, especially for food and beverage campaigns.
  • Manage F&B media schedules, email marketing, and display advertisements.
  • Monitor and evaluate online programs, addressing opportunities and challenges.
  • Ensure all digital advertising aligns with brand voice and standards.
  • Facilitate social media engagement and content updates on local digital platforms like the hotel website and travel sites.
  • Assist in promoting F&B, weddings, spa, rooms, and conferences via digital and social media channels.
  • Engage proactively in online reputation management by addressing relevant guest feedback on social media.
  • Contribute to the quarterly PR planning alongside agencies.
  • Maintain comprehensive local media relationships, focusing on food critics and bloggers.
  • Manage assigned media accounts and assist in drafting and distributing press releases for events and promotions.
  • Support hotel-sponsored events, community, and press activities.
  • Oversee external vendors and media agencies, coordinating with PR leaders on promotional strategies.
  • Coordinate photography for advertising and public relations in partnership with internal and regional marketing teams.
  • Assist in seasonal and festive photo shoots in collaboration with cluster or area marketing teams.
  • Serve as liaison for regionally approved local photographers for food, amenities, and property imagery.
  • Coordinate and produce hotel and F&B printed marketing materials, ensuring inventory control and brand compliance.
  • Support production and placement of property, F&B display, and temporary signage.
  • Assist in direct marketing activities for F&B outlets, aligning all collateral with brand standards and audit requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of all communication initiatives.
  • Assist with hotel newsletters and joint F&B promotions.
  • Ensure regular updates to the hotel's website and related platforms.
  • Provide marketing expertise and support to General Managers, Sales, and Revenue leaders.
  • Stay informed of competitors’ marketing efforts and current digital marketing trends.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Candidate Profile and Eligibility

Applicants should have either a 2-year degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field plus 2 years of professional experience in sales, marketing, digital media, or related areas, preferably in hospitality marketing or digital advertising; or a 4-year bachelor's degree in the relevant fields with no prior experience needed.
