Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Consultant to contribute to operational excellence and continuous improvement projects across various client locations. The position entails thorough data analysis, documentation preparation, conducting audits, studying processes, and coordinating onsite activities with clients, closely collaborating with senior consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WI), presentations, posters, and relevant project documentation.
- Gather and evaluate data on production, rejection rates, productivity, energy consumption, and sales performance.
- Perform work-study, time-motion study, and identify bottlenecks in shop floor activities.
- Assist in audits including 5S, energy usage, and process efficiency audits.
- Provide project execution support to senior consultants and manage prioritized assignments.
- Communicate and coordinate with client teams to ensure timely and accurate task completion.
- Accompany senior consultants during client site visits to implement project initiatives.
- Support initiatives aimed at continuous improvement and enhancing operational excellence.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong abilities in data analysis and interpretation.
- Effective documentation and report creation skills.
- Awareness of manufacturing processes and shop floor activities.
