About the Role
KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) offers integrated solutions across the full asset lifecycle, including licensed process technologies, advisory services, domain expertise, energy transition initiatives, detailed design, and smart solutions to optimize asset performance.
As an Area Maintenance Foreman, you will oversee daily maintenance operations—including corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance—for mechanical, instrumentation/electrical, and rotating equipment at a Petrochemical plant managed by contractors. Your role ensures compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards to maintain plant availability, reliability, and continuous operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise execution of maintenance tasks assigned to contractors involving mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation aspects according to company standards.
- Consistently update the CMMS system with maintenance activity reports for the plant.
- Support planning and scheduling supervisors as needed.
- Assist the company’s reliability team with analyses related to recurring equipment issues.
- Compile weekly maintenance reports and participate in relevant meetings.
- Coordinate job-specific training for personnel in collaboration with Human Resources to enhance skills.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols during job execution phases.
Qualifications and Experience
- For candidates with a High School certificate: at least 15 years of maintenance experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
- For candidates with a Diploma: minimum 10 years of relevant Oil & Gas maintenance experience.
- For candidates with a Bachelor's degree: 7 or more years of experience in Oil & Gas maintenance.
- Strong understanding of refining equipment, maintenance contract management, and safety regulations.
- Highly organized, proactive, and effective in communication.
- Proven leadership capabilities managing large teams.
- Sound judgment under pressure with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strategic mindset open to innovation.
- Ability to deliver results in a diverse, multicultural workplace environment.
