An established design-focused practice in Aberdeen is seeking a skilled Architectural Technologist or Technician with significant experience to join their collaborative team. Key Responsibilities

You will engage in a diverse range of projects including commercial, workplace, and refurbishment schemes. Your involvement will span from initial design stages through technical development, securing approvals, and supporting construction activities. Responsibilities include preparing precise drawing packages, coordinating efforts with consultants and contractors, and ensuring compliance with pertinent technical standards, regulations, and client briefs.

Qualifications and Experience

• A recognised qualification in Architectural Technology or a closely related field.
• Minimum of five years post-qualification experience.
• Strong technical detailing and in-depth knowledge of construction methods.
• Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations and specific expertise with Scottish planning and warrant procedures.
• Proficiency in producing coordinated technical documentation using industry-standard design software.
