Architectural Inspector

Overview

Candidzone is searching for a seasoned Architectural Inspector to support a consultancy project based in Doha, Qatar. The candidate must have a robust background in architectural inspection combined with a relevant academic degree and solid consultancy experience.

Key Duties

• Perform architectural inspections directly on project sites.
• Supervise construction activities to verify adherence to approved architectural drawings and specifications.
• Evaluate architectural outputs, including materials and workmanship quality.
• Detect and document any quality concerns or discrepancies.
• Collaborate closely with consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure alignment.
• Analyze and approve shop drawings and other technical submissions.
• Document inspection results and produce detailed site reports.
• Ensure all architectural elements comply with project specifications and established standards.

Candidate Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• At least seven years of pertinent professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience working within a consultancy framework.
• Expertise in architectural inspection relevant to construction projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of architectural drawings, construction specifications, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication abilities and skills to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
