Role Overview
The Architectural Engineer will be part of Proger's Riyadh branch, responsible for the comprehensive planning, design, and oversight of architectural projects. This includes ensuring technical compliance, aesthetic standards, and adherence to local regulations while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The role involves design documentation, supervision of execution phases, and alignment with project objectives, standards, and schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural drawings and designs compliant with project requirements and Saudi building regulations.
- Engage in planning, design coordination, and project management to maintain efficient workflow and meet deadlines.
- Review and approve design documents, shop drawings, and materials submissions.
- Oversee on-site construction to ensure conformity with approved designs, safety protocols, and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers to resolve any design or construction challenges.
- Assist with project budgeting, cost evaluation, and resource allocation.
- Compile progress reports, thorough documentation, and technical presentations for both management and clients.
- Ensure all architectural activities comply with Saudi Council of Engineers regulations and other pertinent authorities.
- Support the creation of sustainable, energy-efficient building designs.
- Mentor junior engineers and draftsmen by providing technical guidance.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering is mandatory; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Must hold an active membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
- A minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in architectural engineering.
- Strong proficiency in design and drafting software: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, among others.
- Good knowledge of project planning and construction supervision methodologies.
- Familiarity with scheduling and project tracking tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
- Excellent command of English, both verbally and in writing.
- Applicant must be a Saudi national, as required.
