Architectural Draftsman – Al Ain & Abu Dhabi Submissions

About the Role

Hala Engineering Consultancy seeks an experienced and meticulous Architectural Draftsman to join their team based in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and coordinating architectural drawings specifically for submissions and approvals from Abu Dhabi and Al Ain municipal authorities, ensuring strict adherence to local regulations and building codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Create precise architectural and construction drawings for villas, residential, industrial, and commercial projects.
• Assemble comprehensive municipality submission packages including plans, elevations, sections, detailing, and area calculations.
• Ensure full compliance of all drawings with the Abu Dhabi Building Code and local regulatory standards.
• Develop project models using Revit software, which is mandatory for this role.
• Design and produce interior design and interior shop drawings as required.
• Incorporate revisions based on feedback from authorities and architectural/engineering teams.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, and interior drawings.
• Support the approval process, addressing any required changes during construction phases.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Drafting, Design, or related discipline.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and mandatory Revit/BIM use.
• In-depth knowledge of Abu Dhabi Building Code, local building regulations, and municipality submission protocols.
• Demonstrable experience in preparing submissions and securing approvals with Abu Dhabi and Al Ain Municipalities within the UAE.
• Ability to generate accurate, detailed, and regulation-compliant architectural and construction documentation.
• Experienced in preparing tender drawings and civil defense drawings.
• Advantageous experience in interior shop drawings, 3D modeling, visualization, structural and MEP drafting.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational capabilities, and efficient management of multiple projects and deadlines.
• Availability for immediate joining.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Al Ain, UAE. Priority consideration will be given to candidates with practical expertise in municipality submission and approvals for Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
