Overview
Platinus Technologies Pvt Ltd, a company offering expert staffing and consulting solutions, is seeking an experienced Architectural Designer specializing in US residential single-family homes. This full-time position is based in Hyderabad/Bgumpet and requires 4 to 8 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed architectural and construction documents tailored for US single-family residential projects.
- Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, roof plans, and site plans utilizing Autodesk Revit software.
- Produce permit-ready drawing sets for various construction types including new construction, additions, renovations, and remodeling.
- Translate sketch concepts and markups into precise architectural drawings.
- Draft existing and proposed floor plans based on site data and client needs.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing consultants to ensure project cohesion.
- Incorporate client modifications, design revisions, and municipal feedback into drawings.
- Maintain accuracy and high-quality standards throughout all project stages.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and engineering personnel to fulfill deadlines.
- Organize and manage project files, Revit models, and documentation systematically.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) is mandatory.
- Between 4 and 8 years of professional experience in architectural design and drafting.
- Mandatory strong expertise in Autodesk Revit software.
- Prior experience with US residential projects, especially single-family homes, is highly desirable.
- Understanding of US residential construction standards and architectural drafting conventions.
- Knowledge about construction drawings, detailing, dimensional accuracy, and building materials.
- Familiarity with US building codes, zoning rules, and permit preparation processes.
- Ability to analyze architectural sketches, redlines, and technical specifications effectively.
- Strong detail orientation and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and coordination capabilities.
- Capable of working autonomously while managing several projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with residential additions, accessory dwelling units (ADUs), garage conversions, and new home building.
- Knowledge of California residential building codes and permitting procedures.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD alongside Revit.
- Experience collaborating with structural engineers and multi-disciplinary consultants.
- Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows and developing Revit families.

This role demands a detail-driven architect who can independently manage architectural drafting and documentation for US single-family residential projects, deliver high-quality Revit models, and coordinate effectively within internal and external teams.
Compensation
The offered annual salary ranges from INR 400,000 to INR 900,000.
