About the Role

Sukte Khatimiti Architects LLP located in Mumbra Kausa, Shilphata, Thane, Maharashtra, invites passionate and driven architectural graduates and architects to join their team. This full-time position focuses on architectural practice and construction projects, strictly excluding interior design work. Candidates will engage in a wide range of tasks such as architectural planning, municipal approval drawings, design progression, preparation of working drawings, construction documents, and site coordination for various projects including residential and redevelopment sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Create architectural plans, sections, elevations, and detailed drawings.
• Develop and prepare drawings for municipal submissions and sanctions.
• Adhere to UDCPR guidelines and development regulations.
• Support preparation of development permission and approvals.
• Generate detailed working and construction drawings.
• Produce architectural details and comprehensive construction documentation.
• Collaborate and coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, fire safety, and other consultants.
• Assist in design development and project scheduling.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and teams on site.
• Regularly visit construction sites to incorporate site-specific revisions into drawings.
• Keep organized records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Understanding of UDCPR and municipal corporation/planning authority procedures.
• Expertise in municipal and sanction drawings preparation.
• Competency in architectural planning and application of building regulations and bye-laws.
• Ability to draft detailed working drawings and construction details.
• Accurate calculation of area and FSI-related plans.
• Skillfulness in consultant coordination and a basic grasp of construction methods.

Software Proficiencies

• Mandatory: AutoCAD.
• Advantageous: SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, MS Office suites.

Candidate Profile

• Candidates should be B.Arch graduates or architectural professionals with enthusiasm for architectural practice and construction.
• Must be eager to learn, take responsibility, and exhibit a detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively within project teams and coordinate effectively with consultants and site personnel.
• Strong interest in municipal approvals and construction documentation.
• Good proficiency in architectural planning and drawing.

Important Details

• This role is strictly limited to architectural planning and construction management. The firm does not handle interior design or related projects.
• Suitable for individuals aiming to build a career progressing through architectural planning, municipal approvals, UDCPR compliance, sanction drawings, design development, working drawings, consultant collaboration, construction documentation, and site coordination.
• Experience level: Fresh graduates encouraged to apply; professionals with 1–5 years relevant experience preferred, especially those with expertise in residential and redevelopment projects, municipal approvals, and construction documentation.
