About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Architect to join our intimate and collaborative architecture and design studio situated in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Our studio focuses on diverse projects throughout Atlantic Canada, blending a passion for exceptional design with a commitment to creating thoughtful spaces that serve communities and individuals alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage architectural projects from initial design phases through to construction completion.
- Prepare and oversee the development and coordination of construction documentation.
- Lead contract administration and facilitate construction processes effectively.
- Collaborate and lead consultant teams to ensure project success.
- Engage proactively within a small team environment, fostering cooperation and shared goals.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Possess between 5 to over 10 years of professional experience in architecture.
- Registered architect in Canada or eligible for registration in Prince Edward Island.
- Solid understanding of construction practices within the Canadian context.
- Demonstrated strengths in both design aesthetics and technical architectural skills.
- Experience using Revit software for architectural design and documentation.
- Excellent communication and organizational capabilities to manage projects and teams.
