Job Overview

As an Architect at DSA based in Kochi, Kerala, you will play a vital role in conceptualizing and delivering top-tier architectural projects primarily across the Middle East. Your responsibility will include crafting innovative, technically robust, and visually appealing designs that embody DSA's design philosophy and fulfill client requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual and schematic designs using hand sketches and presentation material preparation.
• Create detailed design documentation and tender packages including technical drawings, elevations, sections, and construction details.
• Produce compelling visual presentations and design reports for both internal teams and clients.
• Collaborate effectively with internal departments and external consultants such as MEP, structural engineers, and interior designers to achieve well-integrated project outputs.
• Participate actively in client and consultant meetings, both face-to-face and virtually.
• Manage task timelines by accurately estimating completion times and adjusting priorities to meet deadlines while supporting the team.
• Assist in quality assurance and quality control activities aligning with DSA's standards and project needs.
• Maintain thorough project documentation and design archives.
• Engage in professional development through internal training programs including BIM and sustainability workshops.
• Contribute to internal innovation groups (DSA Hubs) focused on sustainability, digital design, and efficient project delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Strong design intuition coupled with proficient hand sketching skills.
• Experience with Middle East projects, including academic or internship exposure, is a plus.

Tools and Technology Skills

• Mandatory proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite; a Revit assessment is part of the selection process, with training available if needed.
• Familiarity with BIM 360, Navisworks, Enscape, Lumion, SketchUp, and generative AI tools is advantageous.
