Role Overview

This Architect position is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Visakhapatnam Area. The successful candidate will develop architectural designs, prepare comprehensive drawings and documentation, and guide design evolution from early planning stages to construction completion. Daily responsibilities include engaging with clients to capture project needs, collaborating across teams, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and budgets, integrating building systems, assisting project management with scheduling and resource planning, and conducting site inspections to assess construction progress and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate architectural concepts and detailed design plans.
• Develop thorough documentation and drawings for projects.
• Coordinate design phases from conception through construction.
• Communicate regularly with clients to clarify requirements.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external consultants.
• Ensure design adherence to codes, standards, and budgetary limits.
• Oversee technical integration with building systems.
• Support project management processes including scheduling and resource allocation.
• Conduct site visits for monitoring construction status and quality assurance.
• Participate in design evaluations and contribute to process improvements.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with all project participants.

Candidate Requirements

• Solid foundational knowledge in Architecture and design, capable of translating client objectives into practical, buildable solutions.
• Experience managing projects through planning, coordination, and oversight of deliverables throughout the lifecycle.
• Familiarity with software development and integration relevant to architectural workflows, including digital tools and BIM.
• Proficiency with design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or equivalents, along with visualization platforms.
• Awareness of local building codes, regulations, and standards applicable to the Greater Visakhapatnam Area.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture or a related discipline; professional licensure or candidacy is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and spatial organization skills coupled with attention to detail and quality standards.
• Effective interpersonal and collaborative skills, capable of clear documentation and cross-disciplinary coordination.
• Capability to work full-time on-site, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and adapt to dynamic project needs.
