AR/AP Specialist

Overview

Mivada is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage daily financial operations for its India entity. This full-time, individual contributor role focuses on deepening expertise in AP/AR and bookkeeping rather than transitioning into management. The position reports to the Head of Finance in Australia and collaborates closely with the India-based Finance Manager and Finance Analyst, offering an opportunity to engage with a fast-growing global consulting firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complete processing of supplier invoices and manage payment runs to vendors.
• Maintain vendor relationships and update vendor master data accurately.
• Process employee expense reimbursements and reconcile credit card expenditures.
• Generate and issue customer invoices while allocating client payments appropriately.
• Oversee debt collections and follow up with customers as needed.
• Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations and ensure timely entry of daily financial transactions.
• Assist during month-end closing procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum five years of professional experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping, preferably within GCC, shared services, consulting, or professional services sectors.
• Proven growth in AP/AR/bookkeeping expertise with expanded responsibilities and impact in previous roles.
• Strong attention to detail and capability to independently manage the full finance cycle.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Zoho Books.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English for coordination with Australian and US finance teams.
