Role Overview

This full-time, on-location position is based in Ras Tanura and requires ARAMCO approval. The Scaffolding Supervisor will manage the full lifecycle of scaffolding structures—erection, adjustment, and removal—ensuring all activities conform to ARAMCO protocols and applicable safety legislation. Key duties include planning scaffold needs, delegating tasks to scaffold teams, inspecting constructions for load and stability, and overseeing safety briefings. The role also involves enforcing fall protection standards, managing work-at-height procedures, and maintaining all necessary documentation and permits. Coordination with site management, engineers, and safety specialists is essential to align schedules, mitigate risks, and facilitate project timelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven leadership abilities to coordinate teams, assign work, and monitor results effectively.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of scaffolding processes covering erection, alterations, and dismantling activities.
  • Experience working safely at heights and implementing fall protection measures as per safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with ARAMCO scaffolding practices and safety demands, including relevant ARAMCO certifications or approvals.
  • Understanding of industry safety standards such as OSHA or equivalent, and skilled in risk evaluation.
  • Capability to interpret technical documents, including blueprints, permits, and method statements.
  • At minimum, a high school diploma; additional technical or vocational education in construction or scaffolding is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills suited to diverse, multidisciplinary, multicultural teams.
  • A strong dedication to fostering a safety-centric workplace and complying with company and client rules.
