Job description
Role Overview
As an Arabic Teacher at Smart Vision School, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive Arabic lessons that promote academic excellence, language proficiency, and emotional growth of students. You will foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, confidence, and a passion for the Arabic language while adapting your teaching methods to cater to diverse learner needs.
Key Duties
- Plan and conduct Arabic lessons in alignment with the UAE Ministry of Education curriculum and school frameworks.
- Employ robust subject knowledge, effective teaching methods, and strong interpersonal skills to inspire learners.
- Adjust instruction to support students with special needs, English language learners, and those with varied abilities.
- Incorporate innovative teaching strategies and technology to enhance student engagement.
- Encourage students to develop independence and lifelong learning attitudes.
- Exemplify best practices in language acquisition, academic honesty, and critical reasoning.
- Regularly evaluate and document student progress, offering constructive feedback.
- Assist students in goal setting and monitor personal language learning milestones.
- Produce detailed academic, social, and linguistic progress reports.
- Enforce consistent behavioural expectations based on school policies and cultural values.
- Encourage respect, empathy, and inclusivity within the learning environment and school community.
- Implement safeguarding measures to protect students from abuse, bullying, and discrimination.
- Support students' emotional and personal wellbeing through mentorship.
- Develop curriculum materials and lesson plans coherent with UAE cultural heritage and values.
- Collaborate with colleagues to uphold teaching quality and consistency.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, meetings, school events, and community activities.

Qualifications and Experience
- A relevant qualification in Arabic language or education is required.
- At least two years of teaching experience in a school environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in assessment, differentiation, and inclusive teaching.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English, both written and oral.
- Understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and student wellbeing principles.
- Experience in UAE or international schools and knowledge of KHDA standards and MoE curriculum is advantageous.
