Role Overview

The Applied Machine Learning Engineer serves as a crucial link connecting sophisticated AI research innovations to practical business solutions. This role requires hands-on engineering expertise focused on developing, refining, and operationalizing machine learning models that provide significant value and improve user outcomes. The position entails strong technical skills combined with a customer-oriented approach to deliver scalable AI applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Go-To-Market team, including Account Executives and Solutions Architects, to facilitate the smooth adoption and deployment of ML technologies.
• Develop and showcase robust proof-of-concept demonstrations that effectively highlight the capabilities of AI systems.
• Design, implement, and launch end-to-end AI-driven applications that meet client-specific requirements.
• Enhance the internal machine learning platform by adding new features and resolving technical issues.
• Integrate new machine learning models into existing platforms or client environments.
• Optimize deployed models and applications for increased performance, efficiency, and scalability.
• Collaborate with external partners to support joint AI initiatives and ensure cohesive interoperability.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Over five years of experience in software engineering roles, primarily involving direct customer interaction.
• Strong programming abilities, with a preference for proficiency in Python.
• Proven track record of leading and completing complex technical projects focused on customer satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills with the capacity to operate effectively within cross-functional and dynamic environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience working in startups or fast-moving business contexts.
• Direct experience fine-tuning machine learning models, including supervised fine-tuning and techniques such as reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF).
• Strong knowledge of generative AI, machine learning concepts, and enterprise-level infrastructure.
