Role Overview

We are seeking an Applied Data Scientist to contribute to our Algorithm team. This role is highly hands-on, sitting at the confluence of large language model (LLM) systems, agentic AI, and crypto-centric intelligence. The successful candidate will craft AI agents capable of understanding market dynamics, reasoning with blockchain data, and performing swift actions for a user base numbering in the hundreds of millions. This involves designing complex reasoning architectures, orchestrating multi-agent systems for crypto workflows, and pushing the limits of inference-time intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and deploy robust, production-level LLM pipelines behind Binance AI products and cutting-edge agentic trading functionalities, including multi-step reasoning entities, tool-selection methods, and automated workflows for spot, perpetual, and on-chain asset markets.
• Enhance agent proficiency in comprehension, reasoning, tool choice, and execution under stringent high-frequency trading conditions, balancing intelligence, latency, and reliability.
• Develop and manage frameworks to evaluate output quality of reasoning models in the crypto domain, focusing on analysis accuracy, decision-making quality, hallucination spotting, and resilience against prompt injection attacks.
• Employ advanced test-time scaling techniques such as chain-of-thought, self-consistency, and reward modeling to improve agent reasoning under ambiguous, rapid market fluxes.
• Design AI infrastructure components optimized for minimal inference delay, throughput efficiency, and cost effectiveness, utilizing serving technologies like vLLM and TensorRT-LLM in a zero-downtime, round-the-clock trading environment.
• Incorporate diverse on-chain data sources, wallet analytics, and crypto market indicators into LLM-based analytical processes, ensuring agents maintain true crypto-native intelligence.
• Collaborate closely with research scientists to convert experimental insights into reliable, production-ready agentic AI solutions with well-defined performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
• Have up to five years of pertinent industry or academic experience in applied machine learning or artificial intelligence engineering.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Python programming, along with proven adaptability in incorporating AI-assisted development tools seamlessly into workflows.
• Show hands-on expertise with large language models including prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, or comprehensive LLM application development.
• Be knowledgeable in multi-agent system architecture involving task breakdown, tool use via multi-channel processing, memory integration, concurrent agent operation, and inter-agent communication.
• Exhibit strong analytical and problem decomposition abilities and thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced work environments.
