Role Overview

The Product team is responsible for crafting the user experiences that drive Revolut. They transform complex challenges into straightforward and scalable solutions by working closely with Design, Engineering, and Data teams to develop features that delight our customers.

We are seeking a Lead Applied AI Engineer to oversee the product roadmap, manage daily operations, lead project execution, and assess risks. This role requires collaboration across teams and active communication with senior leadership to serve as the main point of contact for the product from inception through launch and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-based products, utilizing large language models (LLMs) and other machine learning technologies.
• Collaborate intimately with Data Scientists and Software Engineers to deliver impactful AI solutions.
• Lead cross-functional teams in building and deploying natural language processing (NLP) and AI tools, including AI assistants and AI automation platforms.
• Establish team objectives, success criteria, and roadmaps aligned with organizational goals.
• Drive tangible outcomes for complex products in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, even under uncertain conditions.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience designing, developing, and launching AI products or features from the ground up.
• Strong analytical skills combined with technical expertise and sharp business insight.
• Background in data science or machine learning roles.
• Expertise in managing machine learning projects throughout the lifecycle including design, deployment, and iteration.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
• Familiarity with version control systems, model deployment processes, and developer environments.
• Solid mathematical and statistical understanding.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and innovation.
