API Tester

Key Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and implement detailed API test strategies and test cases.
• Work closely with developers and stakeholders to detect and fix API-related problems.
• Leverage Postman and other testing tools to automate and optimize testing workflows.
• Examine test outcomes, recognize patterns, and suggest improvements to product quality.
• Keep testing documentation current to align with API changes.

Qualifications

• Possess a degree such as M.Tech/ME, MSc, MCA, BCA, BSc, BTech/BE, or equivalent field experience.
• Have 5 to 15 years of professional experience in API testing.
• Proficient in using Postman for API testing and automating tests.

Preferred Expertise

• Experience with CI/CD workflows.
• Knowledge of RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in agile development practices.
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork.

Additional Skills (Desirable)

• Familiarity with Swagger, JIRA, Jenkins, Selenium, and JSON.
