Position Overview
This full-time role, based in Hi-Tech City, Hyderabad, demands API integration experience ranging from two to three years. The working hours are from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST, with options for onsite or hybrid presence.
Core Responsibilities
- Designing, creating, and maintaining API integrations connecting internal and external applications.
- Working extensively with REST APIs, JSON, XML, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, and related authentication methods.
- Utilizing tools like Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI to develop, test, and troubleshoot API integrations.
- Analyzing API communications, diagnosing integration faults, and resolving errors efficiently.
- Partnering with development, quality assurance, and business units to clarify integration needs.
- Conducting thorough API testing, debugging, preparing documentation, and monitoring performance metrics.
- Employing database interaction and fundamental SQL queries for data verification and problem-solving.
- Implementing secure API practices involving OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys, and access management.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of practical experience in API Integration and Development.
- Strong proficiency with RESTful services, HTTP methods, JSON and XML formats, and web services.
- Familiarity with Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI for API testing and documentation.
- Good understanding of API security methods including OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
- Basic competency in SQL for backend data checks.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork capabilities.
- Educational qualifications include B.Tech, B.E., MCA, or M.Sc. in Computer Science or related fields.
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on knowledge of API management tools such as Kong, Apigee, or MuleSoft.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-based API integrations.
- Experience with producing API documentation and managing integration workflows.
