Role Overview
The APAC Badging Manager is responsible for managing and scaling physical identity, badging, and access control programs throughout the Asia-Pacific region. This role owns complete accountability for badge operations, ensuring synchronization with the Global Badging Office and consistent adherence to global policies. Acting on behalf of the Regional Operations Manager, this position leads the APAC badging team toward operational excellence using metrics-driven reporting and initiatives for continuous enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Embody and promote Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Act as a reliable advisor to the ACS Leadership Team and Regional Security Managers to support operational effectiveness in badging and access control.
- Serve as the primary regional contact for the Corporate Security Badge Office, ensuring policy and procedural alignment.
- Implement global best practices across APAC badging activities while customizing processes to comply with local regulations and corporate policies.
- Lead strategic projects aimed at improving security measures, badging workflows, and team competencies through well-planned change management efforts.
- Drive operational reporting and continuous improvement by analyzing SLA metrics, processing volumes, audit results, and access compliance data.
- Oversee monitoring, troubleshooting, and remediation of access control and visitor management systems in coordination with technical teams.
- Manage the APAC badging team’s workload, staff development, and performance evaluation on behalf of the Regional Operations Manager.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety and other regulatory standards impacting badging operations.
- Control and audit access permissions, including quarterly accessibility reviews led by local team leads.
- Coordinate the import and export of badging materials and maintain records and inventory accurately.
- Perform additional responsibilities related to badge and access management as assigned by senior management.
Candidate Requirements
- Graduate qualified with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills capable of clearly articulating complex matters.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- This position requires the mental and physical capability to carry out essential duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Routine computer use, occasional reaching, minor lifting, and operating office equipment.
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
- Travel as necessary.
