Job description
Role Overview
The Animator will produce engaging animations and motion graphics to support digital content, marketing efforts, presentations, and various creative projects. Collaborating closely with creative and project teams, this role brings concepts, scripts, and design ideas to life through polished animated visuals that effectively communicate messages.
Key Responsibilities
- Create 2D and/or 3D animations, motion graphics, visual effects, and animated media aligned with creative briefs.
- Convert storyboards, concepts, scripts, and designs into captivating animation sequences.
- Develop animations for social media, digital ads, videos, presentations, websites, and other platforms.
- Work alongside designers, content creators, video editors, and project teams to maintain creative cohesion.
- Design storyboards, visual concepts, character movements, transitions, and related animation components.
- Edit and refine animations based on feedback and creative direction.
- Apply timing, pacing, composition, color, movement, and visual effects to enhance the storytelling experience.
- Prepare and optimize final animation outputs for various platforms and technical specifications.
- Organize and maintain project files, assets, and source materials efficiently.
- Stay informed about current trends, tools, techniques, and styles in animation and motion design.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Animation, Multimedia, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related fields.
- Comprehensive knowledge of animation fundamentals including storytelling, composition, timing, movement, and transitions.
- Expertise in animation and creative software such as Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar applications.
- Familiarity with 2D and/or 3D animation methods is a plus.
- Strong creative thinking and an attentive eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Capacity to interpret creative briefs and transform ideas into engaging animated visuals.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Skill in juggling multiple creative assignments while meeting deadlines.
- Adaptability, precision, and eagerness to learn new animation tools and techniques.
- Having a portfolio showcasing animation, motion graphics, or related creative work is preferred.
