Role Overview

We are searching for experienced Android engineers to develop BJAK’s native Android app experience. The ideal candidate will emphasize clean user flows, swift performance, and dependable features that customers can rely on.

Responsibilities

• Develop and release Android app features primarily using Kotlin.
• Design intuitive mobile flows covering insurance, payments, claims, and other financial services.
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to streamline complex user interactions.
• Integrate backend APIs to maintain secure and stable app workflows.
• Optimize app responsiveness, loading times, crash rates, and memory usage.
• Utilize analytics and user feedback to drive continuous product improvements.
• Implement AI-driven mobile functionalities that genuinely enhance user journeys.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience in Android development with Kotlin.
• In-depth understanding of Android fundamentals and experience delivering production-grade apps.
• Proficiency with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android architectural patterns.
• Strong appreciation for mobile user experience, usability, and edge case handling.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and diagnosing live app issues.
• Efficient execution, ownership mentality, and commitment to high product quality.
• Portfolio links such as GitHub repositories, app links, or screenshots showcasing your work are highly beneficial.

Additional Information
