Android Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking an Android Developer with 1-3 years of hands-on software development experience, including at least one mobile app deployed to production. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in Kotlin, Android fundamentals, and cross-platform development using React Native. Experience with AI agent integration and AI coding tools is essential.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Develop and maintain Android applications, leveraging knowledge of Android lifecycle, component architecture, networking, local storage, and asynchronous programming.
• Work with Jetpack Compose or traditional Android View system UI frameworks.
• Design and implement cross-platform features using React Native with proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React fundamentals.
• Participate in the full software development cycle including design, development, integration testing, and deployment of AI agent-related features.
• Apply an understanding of large language model (LLM) concepts such as prompting, context management, streaming responses, and tool calling for AI-powered applications.
• Utilize AI coding tools effectively for tasks such as coding assistance, testing, debugging, refactoring, and code comprehension.
• Collaborate using Git for version control and maintain high standards of code quality, testing, stability, and user experience.
• Analyze issues using logs and debugging tools and communicate effectively in English for technical discussions and documentation.
• Embrace learning culture by actively applying feedback from code reviews.

Preferred Qualifications

• Independent experience publishing Android apps to Google Play Store.
• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android architectural patterns.
• Experience developing React Native native modules or hybrid apps.
• Knowledge of unit testing, UI automation testing, and mobile continuous integration/delivery pipelines.
• Skills in performance tuning, ANR (Application Not Responding) and crash analysis, analytics, and monitoring tools.
• Contributions to open-source projects or personal technical products demonstrated.
